Keegan rode his first motocross race at the age of 4 and half, and has never looked back. In his short racing career he has enjoyed lots of success. He is a happy and well liked youngster who loves riding his bike.
Keegan has a great work ethic, he rides and trains at least 3 times a week as well as participating in school sport. He plays Rugby and track and field.
Keegan also realises the importance of a good education and tries hard to maintain an average of 70% at school. He is in his senior year at primary school and was also selected as an environmental monitor.
2nd in the South African 50cc air-cooled national championship, 2nd in the regional championship and 1st in the local club championship.
3rd in the South African 50cc Pro national championship, 2nd in the regional championship and 1st in the local club championship.
1st FIM African cup of nations 50cc pro, 2nd in the South African 50cc Pro national championship and 2nd in the regional championship.
A knee injury kept him out of competition.
Competed in the FIM world jnr MX 65 championship in Italy, where a crash in the qualifier while leading the race kept him out the main. 2nd in the South African national championship.
3rd in South African national championship MX85.
1st at the first round of the MX85 national championship held in JHB.
An unfortunate wrist injury kept him out of competition for the rest of the national season. Selected to represent Eastern province at the North vs. South interprovincial.
